The Spanish metal band Adgar calls to mind the best of Queensryche and Fates Warning, but with the thrashy goodness of early Metallica driving the beat. I can’t understand a word of singer Angel Adgar’s lyrics, but it doesn’t matter, Adgar speaks the international language of METAL!

New Song “No Right” Preview!

A little taste of the “No Right” rough cut! Just so you can get a sense of what I’ve been working on (besides this spanking new website!)

For the record my recording process is usually:

1. Get rough ideas recorded
2. Rough in drums to set the energy level
3. Arrange, revise, record
4. Final arrangement, rough mix
5. Learn/practice the song as arranged
6. Final tracking over finished drums
7. Final mixing

So what you’re hearing is the end of step 4, I’m actually up to step 6 on this one. Vocals are recorded but not mixed, and final guitars need to be re-recorded. The drums are pretty much set. But all in all you’ll get a good sense of how this one’s going to sound. When it’s done, it’s yours for free. Let me know what you think so far! -Mojo
