If you like Southern fried stoner rock that will put the hair back on your chest, you MUST check out Fort Worth’s mighty Orthodox Fuzz. I’ve been following these doomy fuzz rockers for years, and they’ve just released a new EP called Ritual Volume that simply blew me away.

New singer Andrew Kimbrell sounds like he’s been there all along on tracks like Masquerade and Southern Witch. Big guitars, powerhouse vocals, driving beats, the Fuzz have everything I love in a rock band.

If you like Corrosion of Conformity, Kyuss, Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, Godsmack, you must check them out! They are playing this Friday the 16th with Kill Devil Hill at the Boiler Room in Dallas. If you can get there, get there! If you can’t, at least grab the $4 EP, you won’t be disappointed!
